UNHEC is a non-profit organization working in accord with the United Nations to eliminate global poverty and disease by 2015.  UNHEC believes adequate food, medicine, housing, and activity are essential to prosperity.  Education and sanitary living conditions alone reduce the risk of disease and overpopulation. 

 

The project is not about handouts.  UNHEC is about the efficient management of people and land.  Currently, UNHEC seeks to build in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, as well as in the US.  We believe that people in these regions can meet new standards of living for a marginal initial investment.  Test facilities will not come without some cost, however. 

 

Governments and politicians have wasted resources on failed economic models in the past.  This project intends to primarily be private and centered around a proven indoor agricultural method that will yield food stuffs — guaranteed — no matter the geographic or climactic conditions.  Also, by working with corporations just as pharmaceutical companies do currently, medical and other needs like energy should have no problem being met to everyone’s interest.
